Terms of Use

Effective 24 October 2026 · Last updated 24 October 2026

These are short, plain-language notes about using RipeLeaf. "We" and "us" means RipeLeaf's developer — the seller named on its App Store page.

Your licence

RipeLeaf is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These notes add to that agreement. If they ever conflict, Apple's agreement applies.

The one-time purchase

RipeLeaf is free to download and lets you care for up to three plants. A one-time in-app purchase removes that limit. It's not a subscription. The price is shown in the App Store before you buy. Apple processes the payment, and you can restore the purchase on devices signed in with the same Apple ID.

Refunds

Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com under Apple's policies. If you have a problem with the app itself, please also email support@ripeleaf.app so we can try to put it right.

Care and pet-safety information

RipeLeaf's care guides, reminders, weather tips and pet-safety notes are general information to help you look after your plants. They aren't professional horticultural or veterinary advice. We work to keep them accurate, but plants, homes and climates vary, and the information may not be complete or right for your situation. We can't promise a particular result for any plant.

Pet-safety notes are a general guide only. Before bringing a plant into a home with pets or young children, check with a vet or another trusted source. If a pet may have eaten a plant, contact your vet or an animal poisons helpline straight away.

Your content

Your plants, photos and notes are yours. They're stored on your device and in your own iCloud (see the Privacy Policy), so please keep your own backups, for example with the app's export feature or an iCloud backup of your device.

Changes to the app

We may update RipeLeaf to add, change or improve features. If we ever remove something you paid for, we'll handle it fairly and in line with consumer law.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms or in Apple's licence agreement takes away rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded. That includes the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and similar laws where you live. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our liability is limited to the extent Apple's licence agreement sets out.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws in force in Queensland, Australia. If you live outside Australia, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
